Beth, I like what you have written a lot. It just feels so honest and open. Yes, we are different in some ways and similar in others, and this is okay. I was in Israel in February and am going back in June. I really loved it because I had the opportunity to speak for Israeli students. Also, I had read so much about the Holy Land, and it was so special to actually see it.
My Russian is very rusty now. I haven't used it much for too long, so I have forgotten things. My English and Farsi are very good, and my Italian is so so. Every language opens a new world to us. The more we know, the better!
